Meet the hunstman spider

This is a Mermithid worm, which is an internal parasite whose infective larvae enter spiders directly or via ingested food. They basically live inside of the spider and choose the right time to come out, near water. The spider barely lives through this long journey until the worm busts out of it’s stomach.
